Too bad they couldn’t invest the $ in manufacturing 100-200 mile range EVs with no internal combustion engine. People complain about range issues on EVs but now 40 miles is supposed to be great? More than a decade ago the RAV4-EV and EV-1s were getting 100-200 miles. I think if a comparable car was available, no one would be able to keep them in stock. We really need the patents released on the NiMH batteries tha powered these EVs currently owned by Chevron. I read about this mess in Two Cents Per Mile by electrical engineer Nevres Cefo. You can find it on Amazon.
